BROOKLYN, NY—While many thought that the growth of legalized smoke shops in New York would cause a rise in crime in lawlessness, new studies would seem to indicate that what they mostly bring is increased romantic tension and longing looks all across New York’s many neighborhoods.

To take just one example: neighboring smoke shops Bed-Stuy's Exxotics and neighboring shop, ZaZa 'R Us, have been reportedly seen exchanging flirty eye emojis and illicit DMs, as these two businesses literally across the street from each other seek to find new companionship, having moved on from their previous partners Dream Burner and Cloud Nine, which are also literally half a block down from them.

While many would seem to wonder why any block would need four smoke shops within 500 meters of each other and how much weed one street could possibly be buying, sources indicate that Exxotics and ZaZa are more concerned with whether their flirty friendship is just that, or whether it could turn into something more.

On-the-ground reporting revealed that ZaZa was last seen looking deep into Exxotics’ eyes, hoping for the possibility for something deeper and more real, before being distracted by the opening of Smoke Stack, which opened inside of another smoke shop one street over.
