Hmm? Friend’s Viral Tweet Fun Yet Also Egregious Call For Help

NEW YORK, NY—Local comedian Ruthie Jensonsmith made waves today with her viral tweet, “i so lonely- is loneliness cool again? sos”

Her tweet received over 50k likes and was retweeted by Kim Kardashian who captioned the tweet with, “lol so funny!!! This is endorsed by me and not just someone on my marketing team.”

But her friend, aspiring comedian Jenna Potomac said that while she was happy for Ruthie she also was concerned.

“For the past three months, Ruthie has been tweeting about being lonely every single day. She seems to be in genuine distress but will not get a therapist or even one of those fake online therapists you can text,” said Jenna.

When Ruthie was asked to comment, she said: “I have a verified blue check on Twitter now from all my very fun tweets about being lonely and needing human connection and for that, I feel seen. At this moment I don’t think I need psychiatric help even though I stopped sleeping, only exist on Redbull and last night called my ex 67 times before just talking to someone at Domino's about how healing pizza toppings can be for an hour.”

At press time, Ruthie’s tweet had been optioned for a movie deal for an unnamed Jeremy O. Harris project called, “I so lonely.” A24 demands to be involved or the studio threatens to end Lucas Hedges' life.

At this time Ruthie has no plans to go to therapy although she said she does make an effort to swipe right on Tinder when a guy is a mental health professional or psychiatrist.
