White People Unlearning Racism By Each Trying On Spike Lee’s Tiny Glasses

White people all over the country are coming together to fight racism in the best way they can: by trying on Spike Lee’s tiny glasses, together, as a community.

Anti-racist hopefuls filed into the acclaimed director's home this past weekend and watched as he unboxed a chest full of tiny glasses in different color frames.

“These are my tiny glasses,” said Lee, passing them out for attendees to try on.

“It’s really given me insight into living in the world of Spike Lee,” said Kendra Schuman, wearing a tiny pair of glasses. “It makes you think: are these glasses tiny? Or is Spike Lee’s head big?”

“I think the lenses are small, but the frames are big, so the glasses ultimately look small,” said her husband, Matt, pushing his tiny glasses up on the bridge of his nose with his comparatively gigantic finger.

“You’re so right,” nodded Kendra solemnly, starting to feel a headache coming on.

Some attendees, however, struggled with the exercise.

“I’m not really sure this is the best use of anyone’s time,” said participant Brittany Boone. “Should I be reading a book after I put these on? How big is Spike Lee’s head exactly? Is it small or big? Big or small? I need answers.”

“I still don’t know what I should think about BlacKkKlansman,” said Nick Raines, another participant. “Like, the cops in that movie are bad, but in the end, we want them to win? Why are these glasses so tiny?”

Overall, Lee considers the event a success. “This allows me to purchase more glasses, and if that’s how I can give back to the community, I absolutely will,” he said. He hopes that for the sake of humanity, his glasses can get even tinier and tinier.
