How Many Times Is Too Many Times To Yell Your Name In Their Ear In The Club Before Giving Up? The Answer May Surprise You

Music. Dancing. Lights. Drinks. No Parking. Body odor.

What do these things have in common? Yes, James Cordon’s “flash mob," but also: the club scene.

We stood outside the local dance club WAP around 2 a.m. as the patrons were released to find out the appeal of grinding on strangers.

What we discovered was something we never expected to find.

Loyal patron Rebecca Meyer interviewed with us briefly before admitting to something shocking.

“I was with my boyfriend for two years before he knew my name was actually Rebecca.”

“It’s just so hard to hear in there," her boyfriend Adam Smith was quick to clarify. “But Katherine and I are still going strong.”

Rebecca declined to comment further.

Another tipsy couple had more to add to this unfolding story.

“My fiancée’s name turned out to be Jessica! I got ‘Ashley’ engraved on my wedding ring!” Matthew Curr still seemed bitter on the subject.

“My name is Wendy.” His fiancée admitted. “I just gave up trying to correct him over the loud music.”

How many times is too many times to try and yell your name over the music? Is it a test of your hearing? Or the strength of your relationship?

We may never know.
