Democrats Unveil July 4th TikTok Dance In Response To Civil Liberties Being Stripped Away

Washington, D.C.—Just this morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other prominent democrats including Krysten Sinema and Joe Manchin unveiled a series of 4th of July TikTok dances to address the recent tyranny of the Supreme Court.

“After Roe was overturned, I was at a loss of what to do and who to turn to,” said Pelosi, who has served the House since 1987. "But as I was watching Step Up during a congressional hearing about voting rights, I realized the only solution was dance the hate away.”

“We have worked for days nonstop choreographing these dances,” said Senator Krysten Sinema while drafting a bill that would take away health care from pregnant women. “I can’t wait for people to see how hard we’ve worked on this! Kamala Harris does a twirl!” 

Joe Manchin has also been eager to show off his dance skills.

“I was watching Stomp the Yard during a hearing about universal health care and I think a dance-off is what this country needs—non-violently of course,” said Manchin while sending Brett Kavanaugh tap shoes. “It’s his birthday soon! Politics aside, he’s a stand-up guy and this is how I’m reaching across the aisle. Now, if you excuse me, I'm off to Martha's Vin. Have a great 4th!”

According to a few sources close to Pelosi, President Biden may even join in.

“Joe has had a lot of free time lately so he was very helpful in creating some of the dances,” said Pelosi while practicing her kneeling dance. “We think this is what the American people need right now!”
