Beyoncé RENAISSANCE Tour To Feature Career-Spanning Guests Destiny’s Child, Sean Paul, Mike Myers As Goldmember

HOUSTON, TX—Beyoncé has announced that her upcoming RENAISSANCE tour, anticipated to be one of the most in-demand concert experiences of the past decade, will be a retrospective look at her whole career.

“From the early girl group classics with Destiny’s Child," explained the singer. "To my later era-defining solo career, to the weird middle part where no one was sure whether going solo would work out so I did some acting, this tour will have it all.”

As a result, the tour is rumored to have special guests who might pop up onstage throughout the dates, from Kelly and Michelle in Beyoncé’s Houston home to Sean Paul in Miami, to actor and comedian Mike Myers when the tour passes through Toronto.

“My time as Foxxy Cleopatra changed my life,” continued Beyoncé, “It made me very aware I was too talented to ever have to do that again. It would only be fair to let the man whose work gave so many awful men the chance to say 'Do I make you horny, baby?' at 2000s house parties have his time in the spotlight.”

Leaked tour choreo videos suggest that during Irreplaceable, Myers will come on stage in a full gold lamé Speedo and give a two-minute monologue about clogs. Audience members will be expected to laugh before the concert can continue as planned. From there, Beyoncé will perform a medley of hits, before Myers returns as Goldmember to offer some “pancakes, yessssshhh” to the dancers. 

“It’s so rare that you get the chance to see icons like Beyoncé and Wayne's World in the same city, let alone the same room,” said Ticketmaster CEO James Hadwin. “I do encourage everyone to apply for our Pre-Select tickets, which allow guests to select any other concert date that does not have Mike Myers.”
