Man Tattoo’s Birth Day, Time And Location On Forehead To Simplify Dating Life
LOS ANGELES, CA—On Monday, after being on several unsuccessful dates, Jared List got his first tattoo: his birth date, time, and place across his forehead in all caps.
List, who has been on over 13 dates in the past year, started to grow frustrated with the number of women who were more interested in finding out whether he was astrologically compatible with them than getting to know him.
“Every date always started with, ‘where were you born?’ or ‘what’s your birth date?’ or 'have you ever dated a Virgo?' At first, I thought it was because they wanted to get to know me but it was always followed by a late-night text that said, ‘hey you up? List, who has since gone on a date, said the tattoo has already helped weed out anyone who isn’t interested.
“The other night I was on a date with a woman I really connected with online. We both grew up in the same neighborhood and have lost family members to skin cancer but she looked at my forehead when I removed my fitted and immediately left the bar in tears. She later told me that her ex was an Aquarius and that my moon and rising signs are garbage too,” said List, showing his forehead around the bar in case anyone might feel they were compatible.
The tattoo has been a great conversation starter for List on dating apps.
“My Hinge profile picture is just the tattoo so now women will message me my birth chart and highlight exactly why I am bound to have intimacy issues. It’s great because my therapist told me it’s probably because my dad left us and started a second family but now I know it’s because my 5th house is in Gemini whatever that means.”
List is hopeful that the tattoo is a step in the right direction to find the perfect girlfriend.
“I’d love to be with someone funny and loyal. Oh and not a Capricorn, Gemini, Taurus, anyone who has their moon in Libra or Cancer. I’ve also been told I need to stay away from anyone whose 4th house is in Sagittarius or Pisces.”
