Forbes & Nickelodeon Team Up To Launch '10 Under 10' List
NEW YORK, NY—Forbes and Nickelodeon launched their new annual list of the 10 most influential young people under the age of 10. Joining the virtual press conference from his brownstone in Brooklyn, Deputy Editor of Forbes, Sullivan Hawthorne III, could not contain his enthusiasm.
"We must honor these emerging leaders," Hawthorne exclaimed breathlessly. "We’ve come to believe that evidence of genius is apparent by the time a child reaches the 4th grade. Without a doubt, these extraordinary young people have already left an indelible mark on our society. Forbes and Nickelodeon look forward to reviewing the next batch of nominations we receive from parents!"
Forbes noted that next year, fees will increase to $8,000 per nomination. Representatives from Nickelodeon went on to confirm that each honoree will receive a lifetime supply of slime.
Two-year-old Aiden-Brayden Hunter, the youngest person to make the list, was also available for comment. His mother pulled his hands down from covering his face to encourage him to speak. "Aiden-Brayden, aren't you so very happy that you made the list?" He just repeatedly cried out "me have to go potty now!"
Below is a list of some of the standouts from this year. Read the most recent issue of Forbes for the full list of honorees.

Aiden-Brayden Hunter
Age: 2
Title: User Interface Expert
Before he uttered his first word, Aiden-Brayden could use his mom’s iPad. Before he took his first step, he could send texts with emojis. Most recently, he learned how face recognition works. So now, he simply holds the phone up to his mom’s face to open it. Aiden-Brayden is also very popular on an Instagram account managed by his parents. The next step for this superstar is Silicon Valley!
Government and Politics
Julia Williamson
Age: 4
Title: Pre-K Class President
Julia Williamson crushed her competition in her election for Pre-K Class President at Pine Bluff Elementary School. She won by a 63% margin. Her clever campaign slogan was “No PB without the J.” In other words, “No Pine Bluff without Julia.” However, teachers attribute her win to the free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that her parents handed out the day of the election. Can you say, “future Senator?”
