Meet Cute Or Meet Shoot? This Adorable Couple Met During A Mass Shooting

BROOKLYN, NY—Shannon Sharp didn’t expect to meet her now boyfriend during one of the scariest moments of her life, but as a third mass shooting took place Wednesday night, Shannon fled right into the arms of Jason Lee.

“There were already two mass shootings, one at 9 am and another at 9:30 am, so I didn’t expect to be in the middle of one at 9:45 am, luckily I ran into Jason, literally. We bumped heads pretty hard,” said Sharpe as she iced a gigantic bruise on her forehead.

Lee, who was on his way to work, was also taken by surprise when he saw the active shooter alert.

“Honestly, I knew I would eventually be in a shooting, there’s so many! I just didn’t think I was going to meet the love of my life,” he said while holding Sharp’s hand. “We both broke the same finger when we fell—Kismet!”

After hearing the story, Republicans reached out to the many couples who have met during shootings and offered an AR-15.

“We’re just touched that our laws, or lack of, have brought so many people together. We hope Shannon and Jason take this gun as a symbol of love, trust, and of course, protection against another shooting,” said Senator Tom Cotton inside his million-dollar bunker. “You can never be too careful. This bunker is bulletproof!”

For now, the couple is excited to build a life together and forget about the circumstances that brought them together

“I am just happy we both have been able to get through this with each other, " said Sharp while popping a Xanax. “It’s the only thing that helps me, sorry us, sleep.”
