Man Refers To Girlfriend Of Three Years As “Some Girl I Am Dating Or Whatever” In 911 Call

When Dan Fine’s girlfriend of three years, Sarah, collapsed yesterday in the kitchen of their shared apartment, he immediately panicked.

“We were just hanging out and then, all of a sudden, this girl just fell to the floor. I was shook because we’re not even that serious or whatever. I kept thinking how I would have to go to the hospital and maybe even, like, call her mom or something!” said Fine, eating leftovers from the dinner that Sarah made the night before.

According to 911 Operator Janice Turner, Fine panicked throughout the call and was unable to provide basic details about Sarah.

“He started the call off by telling me that ‘a friend who is a girl’ had fainted in his living room,” said Turner. “When I asked him what his relationship to Sarah was, he just said “ahh eh umm, we’re like off and on. Not really exclusive like that.”

Fine, however, thought the 911 operator’s line of questioning was a bit presumptuous.

“She kept asking me mad questions, like what’s Sarah’s full name, how old is she, if she has any medical history of collapsing, where she lives, and it's like, how the fuck should I know?! It’s just been a chill thing,” said Dan as he placed a frame with a photo of the couple on their recent vacation face down.

At one point, the operator accidentally referred to Sarah as Fine’s girlfriend when asking where she should send the ambulance.

“He quickly said, ‘woah, she’s not my girlfriend ya know’ and then explained how sometimes they fuck but it's really not like that," she recounted. "Then, he provided me with their address if I promised to, ‘stop labeling them.’”

Sarah, however, who has no recollection of the event and has recovered completely is back home.

“I am so happy Dan was with me! He always knows what to do and has been incredibly supportive throughout this ordeal”
