New US Climate Change Plan Just A Vision Board Of Printed Images of Forests, Lakes, Birds
WASHINGTON, D.C.—After the latest round of extreme weather across the country, the United States government released its comprehensive climate change plan in the form of a detailed vision board.
The vision board, which was made using two tri-fold science fair posters, is the country’s most ambitious plan to date.
“We spent hours cutting out pictures of lush forests and clean, accessible water to place on the board,” said EPA administrator Michael Regan. “It took a lot of effort to find pictures of our once beautiful parks and rivers. At one point, we almost ran out of glue!”
The EPA hopes that the board, which will be taped to Biden's refrigerator, will be a helpful reminder to the President to start enacting important policy changes, including reducing fossil fuel usage.
“We hope that every day, President Biden looks at the images of forests that aren’t on fire, or clean air that won’t cause lung cancer, and do the right thing,” said Regan while adding an image of the now-extinct Eastern Elk. “I heard vision boards are magical so maybe the panel of extinct animals will miraculously come back!”
The United States hopes that other countries will follow suit and enact the same level of urgency in their countries.
“We want to set an example for China and India. We’ve already shipped multiple tri-fold boards, gorilla glue, and 1000s of National Geographic magazines that we hope other countries can use to create their ideal environment, without passing any laws,” said Regan while peeling glue off his fingertips.
