Migos & Young Thug Release New 50-Track Album Called “You’ll Like 5 Of These Songs”
After numerous reports of a new Migos and Young Thug collaboration, the artists joined together to release a new album late last night. Titled “You’ll Like 5 of These Songs,” the 50-track album features frequent collaborators City Girls, Lil Yachty, Opportunity The Rhymer, Definitely Guilty, I’mTwelve, and some other people who got lost on their way home.
“It was originally just supposed to be one song,” said audio engineer David Crowell who goes by the pseudonym Very Tired. “But they just got high and kept freestyling for about four hours. Eventually, they just decided to chop the recording into 50 individual tracks.”
The subject matter of the album ranges from things they have such as money (track #3 “Money”), to things they did such as nap (track #40 “Naps (Sleep Sleep)”). Things get emotional on the ballad “Real One” where Offset dedicates a verse to his wife Cardi B, with lyrics such as “I could kill you and you wouldn’t call the cops, cause’ you a real one. But also cause’ you’d be dead.”
The album is currently available on all streaming platforms, and physical copies can be purchased at most barber shops or college campuses from a white boy with something to prove.
