Happy "Independent Women" By Destiny's Child Day! And Nothing Else.

Happy "Independent Women" By Destiny's Child Day! And Nothing Else.

Today’s July 4th, and tell me how you feel about this? We bust out our BBQs and chill on our patios because on this day in the year 2000, Destiny’s Child recorded their iconic hit, “Independent Women,” for their Survivor album and the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack. Throw your hands up at me to celebrate this! (And nothing else). Happy “Independent Women” by Destiny’s Child Day to all!

The history of “Independent Women” by Destiny’s Child Day begins as all annual prolific events do: with the dumping of a bad boyfriend. Today, thousands around the world watch fireworks and leave their trash men by saying, “try to control me, boy you get dismissed!”

Technically, the track was actually released to public radio two months later on September 4th, 2000, but we don’t celebrate it on that day. As we all know, that is the day our lord and savior Beyoncé Knowles was born, and we spend that entire day in prayer.

So fire up the BBQ, grill up some meats, drink some beer, and start screaming at your man, “I depend on me if I want it!” Today is a day for celebration! Celebrating this dope ass song and nothing else, because there is nothing else to celebrate on this day. Hope everyone has a great “Independent Women” by Destiny’s Child Day and that’s it!
