CBS Announces New Fall Line Up Featuring Elves, Golems, And Dragons, But No POC

The CBS new fall lineup will feature elves, golems, and dragons but so far no people of color, but lots of magical creatures and maybe even a chill centaur or two.

CBS for years has neglected to cast people of color or women in leading roles, however they hope that the debut of their new show Goblin Cop about a renegade detective with a drinking problem, will resolve many of those issues.

Insiders report that producers wanted to cast a person of color in the lead instead of a goblin, but executives felt that a mythological creature was more relatable than a POC, or a woman for that matter. “We heard the cries for diversity, so we combed through J.R.R. Tolkien’s entire catalogue for ideas,” says CBS’ Werewolf CEO Leslie Moon-ves.

CBS also revamped the anticipated reboot of Magnum P.I., which featured an Hispanic male in a leading role, by adding an ice dragon. Some have noted that the dragon had more lines than Magnum, probably because Americans love dragons more than they love dogs, and they love dogs more than they love black people.

Online fans were also excited for the debut of a new show about daredevil surgeons, Newport Beach Medical. However, the show will only cast mythological creatures, such as a pixie, a slacker gnome, a busty unicorn from the wrong side of town, and a Samoan.

It has been reported that the unicorn may have been sexually involved with one of the producers, which may be an unfortunate indication of a casting couch for mythical creatures.
