Blog: Free Meek Mill And Also My Mom

It’s total bullshit that the white government came after one of our icons yet again. I know we clown on Meek Mill on the regular. I know that. But when it’s all said and done we clearly love the guy. But now the white government is at it again: imprisoning young black men to keep the prison industry complex alive and well. It makes me sick.

And while I’m at it - please let my mom go. She didn’t do it. Please. We miss her so much.

Meek Mill was put on probation way back in 2008 following a lame-ass gun and possession charge. But the way the probation system is set up makes it nearly impossible for a homeboy to live. He can’t go anywhere. He can’t do anything that his culture is specifically linked to. How’s a rapper supposed to be a rapper in this white country? They’ve been out to get him from the start.

Not unlike how Suzie Blackstone framed my mother for the murder of Timothy O’Donnell in the summer of 2006. I’m just saying if you’re gonna reexamine the Meek Mill situation maybe you can just pop on over to the Mabel Bassett Correctional Center in Oklahoma and check out my mom’s case. She used to send letters every month. Now I haven’t spoken to her since New Years. Hope is dwindling…

I guess all we can do is keep showing our support. The white government won’t stop imprisoning our black men. And Suzie Blackstone won’t stop framing my mom for murder. She’s already in jail for god’s sake. How many more murders can you pin on her!! It doesn’t even make sense!!
